Chicago Rock Band: The Hawthorne Effect
“The Hawthorne Effect” is up and coming rock group hailing from Chicago. Their music has been compared to the likes of Wilco, Radiohead, and sometimes, White Stripes meets AC/DC. The name “The Hawthorne Effect” is the phenomenon by which knowing one is being observed affects one’s behavior. Perhaps to elude to something deeper, as their key member John Jauch is not only a musician, but a psychotherapist that uses art to reach, educate, relate and others. Paul Fishman – It’s About Time
Paul Fishman is the former keyboard player of the internationally acclaimed 80s new wave band, Re-Flex. Fishman toured worldwide with the band in the late 80s and is the writer of the international hit “Politics of Dancing.” Fishman has since produced music for some of music’s biggest names and has contributed original compositions to over 100 films. Recently, he has been at work producing his first solo project in 15 years. His electronic-inspired record “It’s About Time” was just released and you can stream it below.
Tyga – Ayy Macarena
The clip kicks off with an appearance from Los Del Río performing their 1993 classic. Tyga is shown donning the same yellow suit and hat that Jim Carrey rocked in The Mask as he attempts to woo a dancer on stage. Special effects find his jaw dropping on the table, while his heart and eyes nearly explode out of his body.
Chris Doherty – This Jack (Chris Doherty Mashup) 2020
Chris Doherty is an established EDM producer based out of central New Jersey, with a unique style and catchy flow. He recently released “This Jack” as a 2020 remix, the only thing different is the added intro. Other than that it’s still the hard hitting bass classic that we know you’ll love. Daniel Coyne – Cloud Nomad
Daniel Coyne a Montreal, Canada nomad crafts an project detailing his experiences and intimate thoughts he comes to pontificate on his newest project titled “Cloud Nomad”. Accompanied with a variety of instrumentation ranging from muddy synths, trap drums, icy atmospheric soundscapes, lush pads to fresh warmth sounding production, he’s a very versatile artist who has a lot to offer to the hip hop scene.
