Eric State – Somebody Real (Official Music Video)

Eric State is an exciting, energetic DJ hailing from the Netherlands. Starting his career at the young age of 15, he slowly worked his way up the ranks, holding down residencies in bars and clubs all over Europe. In 2014, his wife gave birth to their son, which in turn put his career on hold…until now, as he comes bouncing right back with his track ‘Somebody Real’. Eric, who specializes in vocally supported electronic dance music with a feel-good vibe, dug deep into his crate to find an original 1994 recording of ‘Somebody Real’ by Bit Machine and made it his own now, with his second release ‘Somebody Real’.

Headlined by veteran ambient electronic producer Bluetech, with an all around awesome line-up that includes heavy hitter Spoonbill as well as CO favorites Dynohunter, and many other awesome acts. Fire is coming, fire is coming,” a David Lynch narration opens our ears as young heads circle around an outdated room listening to iconic horror tales of Tommy — a moment, captivating in its nod of old on-air chronicles and the story of the world’s burnings. Preview: Lunice Takes Over The Black Box in Denver 2/28

Montreal based DJ/Producer Lunice is one of the music industries best kept secrets. While his accolades as a record producer, and member of duo TNGHT are more than extensive, he maintains a relative level of relative anonymity in the public eye as a solo act. His talent stretches from production and DJing, to dancing and performance art, and everything in between, and he’s earned the respect of many of the top names in music throughout his career. He’s finally getting more and more attention with his genre bending style that draws heavily from hip hop and trap roots. With intricate textures and some of the snappiest drums you’ve heard, Lunice has honed a razor sharp, and often dark sound that is both entrancing and unpredictable. This rising star is constantly in the studio, but he’s doing a limited run of a few North American dates that includes a headline appearance at Denver’s award-winning venue, The Black Box, on Feb 28th!
