Metro Station released their self-titled debut in 2007 and enjoyed wildly successful singles, as well as huge tours, before calling it quits a couple years later. After a several-year break, Cyrus and Musso reunited in 2013 and picked up where right where they left off. Machine Gun Kelly puts on an insane show every time we’ve seen him, and last night the Alpha & Omega Tour at Summit Music Hall in Denver was no exception. Mod Sun started the night off right, and got the crowd nice and turnt for MGK to close it out. Many a blunt were smoked and it was a hell of a night. Chance The Rapper’s sold out show at The Fillmore in Denver on Tuesday was a monumental testament to the rapper’s visual and sonic artistry. Despite the delightfully whimsical fever dream of confetti cannons, skits, LED screens, and (sometimes flying) puppets, the music still managed to steal the show. The strength of Chance’s musical arsenal (with Coloring Book front and center, naturally), coupled with both the performer’s and fans’ enthusiasm made even the album cuts rock like hit singles. Chance was pitch-perfect and worked within the structured show without feeling overly choreographed. He took the crowd to 21st century technicolor church, and left everyone with the reverent and rare knowledge that they’d borne witness to a young rap legend bringing the fucking house down. Our friend @Jake_Blackson (#theyshootn) captured the performance with some amazing photos! Enjoy, and don’t miss The Magnificent Coloring Book tour in your city!

Long Island NY based songwriter and recording artist Jason C Griffin has caught our attention with an impressive debut EP that promises a bright future for the young artist. With a diverse mix of pop, R&B and soul Griffin showcases mature lyrics and modern production throughout the EP. The highlight track for us was “Flirting with Danger,” which features an addictive piano riff that lends itself well to some of Griffin’s cleanest vocals on the project. Look out for more from this rising 19 year old artist in 2016, and enjoy XVII on soundcloud or directly at www.jasoncgriffin.com.

Shitty rapper turned EDM sensation Waka Flocka is an entertainer in the true sense. Without having any real talents, his hilarious persona, image, and energy have carried him to super stardom. His most recent endeavor is this commercial for Pine Brothers Cough Drops. We aren’t sure how Waka managed to keep a straight face here, because this is funny as hell. And yes, this is a real advertisement. Never smoke a blunt again without Pine Brothers, straight up!
Tarik and The Roots perform a Harry Potter-themed rap. Black Thought’s rap came to a crescendo with the lyric: “See you on the Hogwarts Express, all aboard!”
We would like to report that no baby-daddies were harmed during the making of this video. The girl in the fronts name is Elena (Fraules) she’s a dancer, teacher, choreographer and probably sells lap dance for a lot more than the other girls. Praise the internet Gods for these sluts.
