With a hard beat courtesy of Dial-1-900 & Chuck Strangers, both artists do what they do best, and the result is flawless. This is a must hear, and we’re looking forward to Joey’s upcoming album AABA.

Amp Live – Atmosphere EP

Veteran producer Amp Live has been blurring lines between genres for close to two decades. From boom bap and reggae beginnings as one half of legendary Oakland hip hop duo Zion I, to filthy dubstep productions alongside the likes of Bassnectar and others, Amp Live proves that there are no rules in music. His latest offering, the Atmostphere EP on Gravitas Records has little bit of everything we’ve come to hope for from the versatile producer. There’s elements of poppy EDM influence, classic hip hop, reggae, trap, dubstep and little dash of something that’s unique to Amp himself. With some awesome features from Eligh, Lana Shea, and Cristina Soto to round it out, this EP is a great listen for any music fan.

Patrick Reza’s newest release “Fly” is nostalgic and refreshing at the same time. It’s a hard hitting dubstep banger true to its core, with exciting drops and a healthy dose of rock influence. Definitely wouldn’t mind seeing this live, check it out!

Underground powerhouse Murs released a new video for his K-R.O.K-produced single “GBKW (God Bless Kanye West)” in anticipation of his upcoming Captain California album set for release next Friday. This clean black & white video has a socially conscious message that is ever relevant in today’s times. Check it out.

Zeds Dead – Dimemories (Official Video)

Electronic dua Zeds Dead present the official video for “Dimemories,” a cut off their forthcoming album Northern Lights. The trippy visual adds to the effect of this spacey tune that features a nice array of organic and synthetic sounds with subtle vocals creating a surprisingly emotional journey.

Flume – Enough Ft. Pusha T

Flume continues to be one of the most impressive musicians in the electronic DJ/Producer realm, where “actual talent” sometimes comes into question. He once again hit the mark with the super dark, bass heavy “Enough,” which features a few scorching verses and an understated hook from King Push himself. This shit goes.

Raekwon – Purple Brick Road (feat. G-Eazy)

Raekwon continues to stay relevant after decades in the game. He tapped the much younger G-Eazy for “Purple Brick Road,” a J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League produced banger that successfully blends Chef’s boom-bap roots with the modern radio appeal you’d expect from Eazy and J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League. Enjoy!

Desiigner – Outlet

G.O.O.D. Music’s Desiigner returns with another looosie, “Outlet.” Whether or not you fuck with Desiigner, he always keeps it interesting, and “Outlet” is no exception, plus anything produced by Mike Dean and the G.O.O.D. team always warrants a listen.

Chance the Rapper – Same Drugs (Official Video)

Chance is back with a new video for “Same Drugs” off of his latest project Coloring Book. He stays consistent with his usual puppet theme, and a simple and clean visual that reminds us of 90’s daytime television. Featuring a different version of the song that really lends itself to the solemn visual, the 23 year old star doesn’t disappoint.

Torrence – What Rules (prod. by Chris Winston)

Rapper/singer/songwriter Torrence is an artist born and raised in Chicago, IL and currently living in Dallas, TX. With an upcoming project on the verge of release in April 2017, the artist released a new song “What Rules” produced by Chris Winston to begin the year. Containing a combination of trap production, heavy lyricism and an immersive flow the rapper conveys a message about there being no rules for one to follow when it comes to making yourself happy and succeeding. @Muzikminded
