Steve Lacy‘s Give You The World Tour kicked off last night in Denver, CO at the famed Ogden Theatre on Colfax Ave. After years of paying dues as a supporting player on various projects including his role as guitarist in prominant neo-soul band The Internet, one thing has become clear: Steve Lacy has blossomed into a full blown superstar. With his array of talents on full display, the rising artist showcased his guitar playing, singing, and rapping.
Superstar rapper/Grammy Award Winning producer Pi’erre Bourne will bring his “Good Movie” world tour to Denver on Saturday, 10/8 at one of our all time favorite venues Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom.
Cementing his place at the forefront of recent rap music, Pi’erre Bourne has crafted beats for the likes of Kanye West, Playboi Carti, Lil Uzi Vert, and more, he also dropped acclaimed solo projects The Life of Pi’erre 4 and The Life of Pi’erre 5, which was hailed as one of the “Best Albums of 2021” by NPR, Complex, Rolling Stone, and XXL.

This year he brought along friends Matoma, Audien, and Disco Lines for a well rounded lineup that had fans dancing all night. The Denver based collective, founded by Nicole Cacciavillano in 2007 is responsible for concerts and events in the bass capital and around the country. Over they years, they’ve also established a full service booking agency with an impressive roster, and they’ve opened doors on a brick and mortar venue, The Black Box, which hosts hundreds of events each year. We’ve attended dozen of Sub.Mission’s music forward parties, and they’ve always stayed true to their mantra of “moving people through sound, not hype.” We chopped it up with the boss lady herself about the journey so far, and the future of Sub.Mission. We were lucky enough to catch her live performance at The Bluebird Theater in Denver, CO, and needless to say, she did not disappoint. Amber showcased her eclectic blend of R&B styles masterfully, though a heartfelt performance that attendees won’t soon forget.
