We interviewed Neon Dreams, a band that defies genre pigeonholing, as they draw freely upon pop, rock, EDM, hiphop and reggae elements, integrating and blending them in seamless and thrilling fashion. They have rapidly emerged as one of the brightest new stars on the Canadian music horizon but their success story has long and deep roots.
Our friends at Doperoots teamed up with Audiomack and X-Games to bring No Ends to Denver. This unique event combines Hip Hop, EDM, and Action sports culture for a multifaceted party unlike any other. The Denver edition of No Ends featured a heavy hitting lineup including Baauer, Cousin Stizz, Lil Skies, and a surprise performance from Audiopush among others. NYC Based record label Doperoots has teamed up with X-Games and Ferg to create No Ends, a perfect fusion of action sports, hip hop and edm featuring and onsite skate park, musical performances and much more. The event debuted in NYC, but they are now bringing this unique party experience to Denver on Jan 21st at Exdo Event center, and it’s not one to miss. Bay Area native Playpat returns with the super wavy hustler’s anthem “Solo” produced by Enry-K. The video is one of the cleanest indie productions we’ve seen in a while, and it really enhances the vibe on this one. Roll one up and get on Playpat’s level before you bump this. Enjoy!
Even mediocre emcees usually bring their A game for their “freestyles” on Funk Flex’s show on Hot 97 in NYC, but it’s a rare treat when Flex brings in a straight up legend like Black Thought of The Roots. Thought rose to the occasion with a flawless 10 minutes of heat off the top of the dome reminding the entire world why he should always be brought up in the top 5 dead or alive conversation. We pity the fool who has to follow up this on Freestyle #88 on Funk Flex’s Show next.

Hip hop artist and cannabis aficionado Action Bronson has garnered the adoration of legions of fans over the last few years, dropping several projects and working with the likes of A$AP Rocky, Mac Miller, The Alchemist and many more. Known for his outlandish style, Action blends comedy and other unexpected antics into his verbose lyrics making him unlike any artist out right now. He’s also a bona fide celebrity chef and youtube personality as the host of F*ck, That’s Delicious, his own series on Vice.
We teamed up with our friend DJ Low Key to create DotDotDot, a one of a kind party experience at The Metlo in Denver. Powered by Doctor’s Orders Dispensary and Cannabis Queen edibles, the event featured a three course cannabis infused dinner, roll-your-own-joint stations, as well as a rooftop a rooftop dance party with DJ’s and performances including DJ Sounds Supreme, CRL CRRLL, Sur Ellz, Sedrick Ave and more.
