The album is available for purchase on iTunes, or available for streaming on SoundCloud below! Find out more about the 3hree project at www.thethreeproject.com
The highly anticipated Ghastly X Mija colab “Crank It” Ft. Lil Jon, was released today. The track received support from Skrillex as part of OWSLA’s first ever Christmas album titled “EGGNOG”. Enjoy!
Villz has been making a name for himself as an alt-R&B vocalist to watch. His songs are rooted in lost love, the moody, melodic music of Villz is driven by pensive confessions, sexual innuendos, and notions of escapism. While relying on heartbreak as his muse, the Haitian, Florida-bred singer/songwriter weaves soul, synth, and electric guitar with addictive downbeats and an unadulterated delivery. On the heels of his recent singles “4:20 AM” and “Appreciation”, Villz releases his awaited 8 track debut album in full. Producers include Mike Ewing, Sage Tune, William Wolf, Ducko McFli and Syksense. Stream below or purchase from iTunes.
Rising DJ/Producer Treyy G teamed up with DRTY DNCN and EDM.com to bring us yet another party anthem. This track has one of Treyy’s signature catchy rap style hooks on top of a bounce/trap beat that has some pretty sweet drops. Keep your ears up for this banger in nightclubs around the world.
The 3hree Project is a compilation of some of Denver Colorado’s most promising artists, curated by a team of respected music industry veterans. The first single, “All or Nothing” features singer Leona Harper and rapper FL (of the Foodchain.) The track’s foundation is a slightly ominous, but somehow club friendly beat that lends itself perfectly to Harper’s charming vocals and FL’s sharp verses. Look out for more heat from The 3hree project this winter.
Rising DJ/Producer Vinnie Maniscalco is back at with a mash up of Disclosure/Sam Smith’s “Latch” and RL Grime’s “Tell Me.” Individually these were two of the hottest songs of 2014, and they blend together gloriously creating something almost entirely new. For your listening pleasure, enjoy!
G-Eazy is becoming one of our favorites from the generation of “College Rappers” that includes Chris Webby, Mac Miller, Asher Roth and others. Eazy is back with his new single “Achievement.” Produced by Christoff Anderson. The beat is pretty much an updated rip off of East Flatbush Project feat. Des – “Tried by 12,” (also re-popularized in the Shady 2.0 Cypher a few years back) but its dope enough, and the real highlight is Eazy’s bars. Throughout the track he effortlessly delivers some of the stronger punch lines we’ve heard in a minute. If you don’t already know about G-Eazy, you will soon!
Trap heavyweight RL Grime dropped this new heater off his debut album Void featuring G.O.O.D. Music’s Big Sean, who is also on top of his game right now. The track is dope. The chorus is a little abrasive but catchy none the less, and the verses go hard. RL did his part too providing a grimey trap beat with heavy street appeal. These EDM x hip hop collabs are becoming more and more common, but this might be our favorite since A$AP Rocky and Skrillex dropped “Wild for the Night.”
Check out this new posse cut from the Shady Records camp, “Psychopath Killer.” The track includes the entire roster including Yelawolf, Slaughterhouse, and of course Eminem himself. The slightly creepy track is produced by an unlikely dream team consisting of Just Blaze, Boi-1da and the Maven Boys. The track pretty much what you would expect from the Shady Roster: a dope beat, insane rhyme patterns, a few celebrity name drops, and plenty of shock value.
Pusha T is back with this Kanye West produced single. The beat sounds like a track that got left off of Yeezus, but Pusha goes in, and the track is dope overall. The exclusive stream is courtesy of Funk Flex or you can pick the single up on iTunes now.
Canadian DJ/Producer Mad Kapital presents an impressive first official release titled “Welcome to the Stars (Deep House Remix). We loved the ambient, care free vibe of this track, and we’re looking forward to more from Mad Kapital. Check out the song and visit him at www.madkapital.com or on Facebook or Twitter. As a creative artist and world traveler, his Instagram feed is pretty dope too.
Michael Menert (of Pretty Lights Music) has been continually growing his fan base and his musical prowess over the last few years. His newest effort ‘Sweet Remorse’ features Keeplove?, crew member Paul Basic, and C1 (of The Foodchain). The track doesn’t disappoint. The super-smooth, jazz influenced production blends magically with the ambient chorus, and C1’s dope, and effortlessly delivered verse. We love the laid back vibe of this track, it’s a perfect song to roll one up and smoke to!
Los Angeles rapper Jay Rock tapped fellow TDE crew member Kendrick Lamar as well as singer Chantal for this new banger. The production is strong, and all three artists come correct, making this one of Jay Rock’s best tracks to date! With recent releases from K Dot, Ab- Soul, and Schoolboy Q, it’s safe to say the TDE crew is on fire!
Up and coming Florida artist Villz caught our attention with his single, “4:20 AM.” This tripped out, dream like record blends synths and organic sounds with Villz’s melancholy voice to create a unique future-soul vibe. The colorful video is equally dream like and compliments the song well. Check it out, and look forward to seeing more from Villz soon.
Tha Alumni Music Group’s Sean Brown is back with another official mixtape, Mascot 2, the second installment in his Mascot mixtape series. The tape’s features include Mark Battles, Futuristic and others. With production from hit maker Ned Cameron, as well as Sean Brown himself among others, this project doesn’t disappoint. Download it for free!
Rising Los Angeles producer Kayzo teamed up with Seek N Destroy for their new Crank EP. This monster title track straddles several genres, enjoy!
Mac Miller has continually surprised us throughout his career with his effortless overachievement musically as well as in the world of business. Today marks the end of his reign as one of the top independent rappers in the game as he reportedly signed a ten million dollar record deal with Warner Brothers. Mac dropped the Sap produced “Just Some Raps, Nothing to See Here, Move Along” for free today, and judging from this banger, Mac shows no signs of switching up his style now that he’s major.
DaVinchee X, an up and coming hip-hop artist, hailing from New York just released “Paranoia of Success” recently & It’s good, really good. The production & vocals are reminiscent of Kid Cudi. The song featured below “Faces of Pleasure” was our favorite off the album. You can listen to the rest of his album on Spotify.
