Oxford MS based singer Voidguts linked up with AM Grim to create the Grey Dagger EP, a short, 4 track electronic project that spans many genres and styles. AM Grim’s dark instrumentals provide a perfect backdrop for Voidguts’ uninque, slightly eerie vocals to create a soundscape that reminds us of an electronic version of Kanye’s My Beautiful, Dark, Twisted Fantasy minus the rappers. Fashawn teamed up with Alchemist on this dope collaboration project that sounds exactly how you hoped it would: Grimey ALC beats laced with Fashawn’s relaxed but pungent rhymes, complete with Evidence (of Dilated Peoples) as the project’s only feature.
