Producer Dr.G linked up with Trev Rich (Cash Money Records) Rec Ali & Rap P (QB) And Chox Mak for this super smooth, slightly retro feeling track. The MC’s who each rep different parts of the country all detail their survival stories from the block over a soulful backdrop and some sharp cuts. Enjoy!
The Floozies have returned with a new song and video “Don’t Give Up On Me.” This one is dope, it’s a departure from what we’ve come to expect from The Floozies featuring more singing than usual, but it’s still nice and funky and has solid drop for the bass heads. We’re excited to see what else they have in store!
Boonie Mayfield made major waves on the internet under his former name Boon Doc by cooking up super hot beats from scratch and putting them on YouTube way before every producer was doing that. Since then he’s released a ton of dope beat tapes, songs, videos, and more under a variety of names, but with consistent quality. He’s back with Boondocumented Vol.3, a super smooth 48 track tape that showcases Boonie’s unique blend of neo-soul, hip hop and other elements. If you’re a beat head, show this underrated producer some love and check out Boondocumented Vol. 3 on Spotify and other major outlets. Thank us later.
Action Bronson has been resurfacing lately, and now he’s back with the Rick Ross assisted “9-24-7000,” the latest single of his upcoming project Blue Chips 7000 set for release this Friday, August 25th. They didn’t reinvent the wheel here but the track is smooth. Enjoy!

One of our favorite artists GoldLink recently covered Outkast’s legendary song “Roses” on BBC Radio 1 and it is everything one could hope for. The cover definitely does the original track justice, keeping the integrity but making the GoldLink touch inevitable.
‘Flower Boy’ rapper Tyler, the Creator greeted Stephen with a butt-grab and the rest is history. He was there promoting his fourth studio album called Scum Fuck Flower Boy (or Flower Boy for the purposes of work emails).
We haven’t heard much from Chiddy Bang in a minute, but he’s back with “Same Old Thing,” a warm summer track produced by rising indy heavyweight Russ. Chiddy addresses his absence and what life is looking like for him. Will the VA rapper make a comeback? Check it out for yourself!
We love Dr. Dre, who doesn’t. He just dropped a rare solo track along with the release of his new documentary The Defiant Ones. Although the verses don’t really feel like the Dre we know, they aren’t bad. The beat is banging (as always) and the hook is heat. You can’t not listen to the new D.R.E. so check it out, and definitely peep The Defiant Ones, the new HBO documentary about Dr. Dre and Interscope Records founder Jimmy Iovine.
Memphis recording artist, Christian Kuya, releases his debut single “Feel Like” produced by 808 Mafia’s Nonstop Da Hitman (Yo Gotti “Errybody” / Rick Ross “Same Hoes”) . This new record features a catchy hook, crazy 808’s, and a carefree take whatever you want energy just in time for the summer flex season. Check out Christian Kuya “Feel Like” stream link after the break, and stay locked into his next release we imagine will come soon.

Joey Bada$$ just casually dropped of three heaters, all produced by heavyweight Statik Selektah. All three songs are very different, but all carry great summer vibes with smooth, jazzy undertones. As always Joey does his thing. Throw these on your soundcloud playlist for your next BBQ!
This 15-piece German orchestra did a cover of Daft Punk’s “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger” and put a whole new spin on the dance classic. Hosted on the German late-night talk show Neo Magazin Royale, the Radio-Dance Orchestra of Ehrenfeld (Rundfunk-Tanzorchester Ehrenfeld) performed their cover live, complete with horns, strings, bass, guitar, drums, and of course, the Rocktron Talk Box.
Los Angeles rapper King Lil G is making huge waves in the underground as his hit singles “Hopeless Boy,” and “Welcome to L.A.,” among others continue to gain traction. Rising producer DeFunk just dropped this glitch-hop heater “Next Level” on HighChai records. Featuring a hip hop sample as the crux of the composition, there’s hard hitting drums and sharp crunchy synths that carry the track. We hope to hear this at a festie or two over the summer. Enjoy!
FKJ just released an impressive live music video of him performing “Die With A Smile,” one of the numerous beautiful tracks from his latest project, French Kiwi Juice. The video is the perfect match for the laid back, aquarium vibe.
Wu-Tang Clan straight up blessed HBO’s Silicon Valley with a brand new track “Don’t Stop,” for the show’s soundtrack. With appearances from Inspectah Deck, Method Man and Raekwon and a flawless beat from RZA this is classic Killer Bees shit. In 2017, we’ll take it! Enjoy!
Kendrick Lamar’s single “DNA.” is definitely one of the most popular racks he’s released to date. He’s recently given the track a few new lines in partnership with the NBA. The unreleased version of this track sounds like it was made just for this commercial, but we are hoping the new version pops up soon!
As another installment of the Still Movin Mondays weekly release, Demrick dropped off this laid back, self proclaimed “summer shit,” the DJ Hoppa produced “Superficial.” The bouncy track has a great feel-good vibe, and a unique message, as Demrick explores the less greedy side of ambition with more confidence in his voice than ever. This one’s definitely going on the summer playlist!
