He recently stopped by Power 106 to spit some ‘Breakfast Bars.’ He killed the freestyle over Fat Joe and Remy Ma’s “All the way Up” instrumental, and managed to keep the blunt lit at the same time. The BET cyphers is one of the best hip hop events every year, and the 2015 cyphers don’t disappoint. This year featured a perfect mix of hip hop veterans and rising artists. The legendary Black Thought of the Roots showed out in a major way, and Redman went notably hard too. Lesser known new comers Joyner Lucas, J-Doe, Daveed Diggs, Nicole Paris, and K-Shine killed it too. Almost all of the performances were solid with only a few questionable candidates like Raury, who was unimpressive. Check out the 2015 BET Cyphers here and expect these artists to do big things this year.

Tonight the Eric Andre Show premiers on Adult Swim, and they released footage of the closing segment, which is a treadmill rap battle between to of hip hops most relevant names, Action Bronson and Killer Mike (of Run The Jewells.) From the looks of it, these boys don’t do a whole lot of cardio on a regular basis, so you can imagine how this turns out. Enjoy!
Former XXL Freshmen Logic continues to turn heads everywhere he goes. He recently stopped through BET’s 106 & Park for the backroom freestyles. Logic is smooth and articulate in this impressive freestyle, and he reminded us why his new album Under Pressure (Oct. 21st) debuted at #1.

His mom and dad join him and Hit song maker Eamon is in the session as well in which A-F-R-O mentions “Eamon (Aiming) the gun.

In recent weeks 50 Cent and the G-Unit crew have managed to make their way back into the spotlight via a few new singles, not to mention 50’s internet beef with Floyd Mayweather. The crew stopped by Hot 97 in NYC to freestyle on the Funk Flex show. Kidd Kidd, the newest addition to the crew literally steals the show when he cuts off Young Buck with some crazy bars. Would like to hear more from 50 who barely chimes in. Still, this cypher is dope, and left us excited for the new G-Unit project. Enjoy!
