RL GRIME isn’t your average trap DJ/producer, he operates on a higher taste level, and does everything with intention and skill. On the heels of his annual Halloween Mix (on of our favorite drops every year) RL is on the road for his NOVA world tour. At his 1st Bank Center appearance in Colorado, RL had the whole building lit. Flexing a brand new elevating stage set up unlike any set up we’ve seen, RL Grime reminded us why he’s one of the most respected DJ’s in the game with an epic performance blending Trap, Hip Hop, and a variety of bass music genres.
Action Bronson is one of our favorite weed smoking entertainers in the world right now, and he was in our home state of Colorado this week, so it was only right that we caught his show at the Boulder Theater. He rocked a dope set with a few old tracks and the majority of his latest album, Blue Chips 7000. Our friend Blake Jackson captured the mayhem, check it out below!
Hip hop artist and cannabis aficionado Action Bronson has garnered the adoration of legions of fans over the last few years, dropping several projects and working with the likes of A$AP Rocky, Mac Miller, The Alchemist and many more. Known for his outlandish style, Action blends comedy and other unexpected antics into his verbose lyrics making him unlike any artist out right now. He’s also a bona fide celebrity chef and youtube personality as the host of F*ck, That’s Delicious, his own series on Vice.

Diplo’s Mad Decent Block Party is always a blast, and this year was no exception. We caught the Colorado stop of the tour at Red Rocks that featured Slumberjack, Valentino Khan, Cheat Codes, Alison Wonderland, Cashmere Cat, and of course, Major Lazer to close out the night. There was ups and downs, and we have our personal preferences (Alison Wonderland killed it) but overall Major Lazer reminded everyone whose show it really was, with a huge display of lights, LED screens, dancers, cannons, money throwing and other debauchery we’ve come to expect from Diplo and his crew. Check out the mayhem if you missed it, or catch the block party in your city. Images captured by Blake Jackson.

We’ve heard a million different rumors, but we’re pretty sure no one actually knows the origins of 420. Regardless, it’s a great time of day to smoke, and it’s turned into one hell of a party every year on April 20th around the country. We checked out some of the festivities in weed hubs around the US, here’s some of our favorite photos from the weekend.
Portland, Oregon is quickly becoming the new hot spot for weed tourists from around the country and world, and for good reason. They have great herb, microbrews, and an impressive concert scene that’s really been picking up on the hip hop side of things. We got the chance to check out the city’s largest 420 party, the first annual Cloud City music and cannabis exibit featuring headliner Lupe Fiasco, hosted at the Roseland Theater in downtown Portland.
