Steve Lacy Brings Incomparble vibes to The Ogden Theater in Denver

Steve Lacy‘s Give You The World Tour kicked off last night in Denver, CO at the famed Ogden Theatre on Colfax Ave. After years of paying dues as a supporting player on various projects including his role as guitarist in prominant neo-soul band The Internet, one thing has become clear: Steve Lacy has blossomed into a full blown superstar. With his array of talents on full display, the rising artist showcased his guitar playing, singing, and rapping.

While the Give You The World Tour wasn’t specifically an album tour, Lacy definitely dove into the hits and deep cuts from his acclaimed Sophomore album, GEMINI RIGHTS, which the fans were clearly familiar with. He also performed a few throwbacks for the day one fans, and he brought out opening act  Fousheé to perform their collab “Sunshine.” Overall, the Los Angeles native delivered an unforgettabe performance, and the vibes in the building were unrivaled. Lacy is 100% original, but with his powerful persona and incredible talent, we definitely see where the Prince comparisons are coming from. Check out our photo recap courtesy of our friend Anthony Maes below, and if you get a chance to catch a later date on the tour, we highly suggest doing so!
