YG’s Red Cup Tour kicks off at The Fillmore Auditorium

Following the release of his latest album I Got IssuesYG has officially hit the road for The Red Cup Tour 2023, along with special guests OhGeesy, Kalan.frfr, Day Sulan, and D3szn. The tour kicked off Friday night in Denver at the legendary Fillmore Auditorium. With a healthy roster of openers the energy was immediately present in the packed building. LA’s OhGeesy (of shoreline mafia) took things to the next level turning the crowd up with some of his new music from is 2021 album GEEZYWORLD, but even after a killer set, it was clear the people were ready for YG.

The chants continued to grow to a full roar and eventually the Compton rapper took the stage with veteran confidence. At this point in his career YG his a deep catalog, and he was happy to flex it, dropping crowd favorites like, “Who do you love,” “Big Bank,” “My N*gga,” and of course his new J.Cole assisted banger “Scared Money,” among many, many others. After this impressive performance, it’s clear that YG is actually an OG in the game. Check out the photo recap courtesy of Anthony Maes below!
