Preview: Get Ready for 420 Weekend At Cervantes
The secret’s out that Denver is the place to be for the high holiday, 420. With the massive stoner celebration comes one of the best (if not the best) weekends of the year for live music in the city. Our friends at Cervantes always host some of the dopest shows of the weekend, and this year is no exception. From hip hop, to reggae, and beyond, check out their amazing line up of stoner friendly talent, including rare intimate shows with legends The Game, and Wiz Khalifa, as well as weed royalty Collie Buddz, and Dizzy Wright. In case you can’t make it for the holiday weekend, fear not, there’s more classic hip hop in the chamber the following weekend, with The Pharcyde and Souls of Mischief on 4/28!
Be on the lookout for some big ticket giveaways on our facebook and instagram, but, there’s always a lot of extra heads in town for the party, so be sure to grab your tickets now, or forever hold your peace! Check out the full lineup below!
4/18: Collie Buddz
It wouldn’t be a proper 420 weekend without Collie Buddz. This reggae star has been a cannabis icon, and he’s the good fight though his music in support of legalization for over a decade. He always brings an energetic performance with plenty of weed anthems.
4/19: Wiz Khalifa w/ Earthgang & Chevy Woods
In anticipation of their 4/20 on The Rocks performances, super star Wiz Khalifa and friends Earthgang and Chevy Woods are bringing the show to the heart of city the night before for what’s sure to be an unforgettable (and packed) night in Cervantes’ Ballroom.
4/20: Dizzy Wright
Dizzy Wright is a self proclaimed hippy, and prolific weed smoker. He’ll be bringing his signature positive vibes and feelgood music to The Otherside. We’re excited to see what his new live band adds to his already excellent stage show!
4/20: The Game & DJ Quik
Los Angeles Legends The Game and DJ Quik are taking over 420 in the Ballroom. The Game goes crazy on stage, if you know, you know. As one of the most successful rappers of the 2000’s, don’t miss this rare opportunity to catch him up close and personal with the OG DJ Quik himself.
4/28: The Pharcyde & Souls Of Mischief
For the underground heads, it doesn’t get much better than The Pharcyde and Souls of Mischief. These two Cali groups have some of the best tracks to smoke to, this will be a perfect reprise to end the celebration after an insane weekend the week before.
