Photos: J.I.D. at The Fox Theatre in Boulder

Dreamville Records new sensation J.I.D. has been making waves for a few years now ever since he linked up with fellow ATLiens Earthgang and subsequently J.Cole and his label. He’s been growing ever since, gaining more acclaim last year as a standout XXL Freshmen in an era where true lyricism is continually overlooked. Late last year J.I.D. released an excellent sophomore album Dicaprio 2, which solidified his status as one of this generations brightest talents. J.I.D. is on the road in support of the album, and we caught his sold out performance at the intimate Fox Theatre in Boulder, CO, one of the cities lucky enough to catch the tour. The young artist delivered a stellar set, commanding the attention of every person in the packed room as he performed a barrage of new material, as well as a few choice cuts from his debut, The Never Story.
