Blu & Exile W/ Fashawn & More at The Black Box in Denver

The legendary Blu and Exile delivered an unforgettable performance at The Black Box, captivating the packed house with their long list of bangers dating back to 2007. DJ Low Key started things off (and closed out the night) with golden era mixes that set the vibe perfectly for the SirPlus to take over with a heavy beat set. West Coast great, Fashawn, elevated the energy with top tier lyricism and incredible crowd control. The intimate venue added to the electric atmosphere as Blu and Ex kicked off their set with tracks from their classic album Below the Heavens, which sounded better than ever on The Black Box’s unparalleled system. Blu’s lyrical prowess shone through as he effortlessly flowed through fan favorite classics, as well as several fresh songs off their brand new album Love (the) Ominous World.

The duo engaged the crowd with rare synergy that can only be achieved through a partnership that’s lasted almost two decades. Highlights included fan favorites like “Dancing in the Rain,” prompting sing-alongs and cheers from the audience. As the night wrapped up, the chemistry between Blu and Exile left everyone buzzing, further solidifying their greatness.
