Dilated Peoples 25 Years of Expansion Team Celebration at The Belasco Theater in L.A.
World renowned hip hop trio Dilated Peoples celebrated the 25th anniversary of their definitive album, Expansion Team, this week in their hometown of Los Angeles, California, at the Belasco Theater. They performed all of the fan favorites from Expansion Team, including “Live On Stage,” “Clockwork,” and of course “Worst Comes to Worst,” as well as many hits from their extensive catalog. Part way through the set, they brought frequent collaborator The Alchemist to share the stage for “Back Again,” which he produced, and also let him perform his classic record “Hold You Down.” This show was a rare treat for longtime fans, and an important moment for hip hop. Our friend Chief Martinez captured the legendary night, check out the photos below.
