Denver based producer and musician Contra Scandal makes his official debut on Gravitas Recordings with Full Circle, a 10 track offering that fully displays his versatile talents. With consistent heavy synths and loose airy drums serving as the bonding agent, each song centers a violin performance tethered to a different regions of the world. Precisely placed vocal snippets, (and even few rap verses from Contra himself on “Mile High Livin,”) keep things interesting and contribute to an impressively cohesive and polished, albeit genre-bending project.
