Kobe Bryant Tribute
The Los Angeles Lakers Legend, Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna died in a helicopter crash near Calabasas, a few days ago. Kobe set the bar and inspired millions of people. His tragic death and the deaths of all of the victims is a sad reminder that life is short. Let’s all take a page out of Kobe’s playbook and get busy living. RIP Kobe! You will be missed!
Kathy Ingraham – CHERISH
Singer-songwriter Kathy Ingraham is having a massive year. An experienced vocalist who has sung on TV and radio commercials for organizations such as McDonald’s, Chrysler, ABC Network, Coke, Pepsi, and many more, Kathy hit her stride as a bonafide indie recording artist in 2014 and has since released several solo projects and singles, working with an impressive roster of artists and composers. She has recently added another soundtrack to her credits with her 60s retro pop rock song “Little Things” being featured in the new Johnny Depp movie, “The Professor.” Her latest release is called “Cherish” and features “Reelin In The Years” guitarist Elliott Randall and jazz icon Pete Levin along with Joel Rosenblatt from Spyro Gyra on drums. Lil Dream – Sink or Swipe
Lil Dream is a Washington, D.C. based rapper who is starting to make waves in the industry with his music. On top of being a skilled rapper, he also produces some of his own records and has recorded and mastered the entirety of his latest project, “86 Nights.” Lil Dream has gained both local and national attention for his music and has even gotten the support of Grammy-nominated rapper GoldLink. Lil Dream also just released an album titled Sink or Swipe. The album is a cohesive group of melodic rap songs that can be compared to the likes of Future or Drake, where Lil Dream both sings and raps. They’re back with a brand new song, “Match My Crazy.” On the track, Arceneaux makes light of his own relationship challenges and emotional struggles on this fun, edm influenced record that is aimed to fight stigmas surrounding mental health. We’ve been following EarthGang since we first heard their early single “Meditiate” Ft. J.I.D. back in 2017, shortly after they signed a deal with J.Cole’s Dreamville Records. They have been quietly paying dues for a few years now, but 2019 marked the beginning of their rapid ascension to being one of hip hop’s hottest and most respected acts. With rare chemistry, captivating charisma, and plenty to say, they continue to shine brighter with each release. Their late 2019 debut album, Mirrorland, showcases the duo’s natural songwriting abilities, with memorable melodies and impressive raps backed by golden era inspired, yet entirely modern production that defines their soulful sound. Paul Fishman – It’s About Time
Paul Fishman is the former keyboard player of the internationally acclaimed 80s new wave band, Re-Flex. Fishman toured worldwide with the band in the late 80s and is the writer of the international hit “Politics of Dancing.” Fishman has since produced music for some of music’s biggest names and has contributed original compositions to over 100 films.
