Villz has been making a name for himself as an alt-R&B vocalist to watch. His songs are rooted in lost love, the moody, melodic music of Villz is driven by pensive confessions, sexual innuendos, and notions of escapism. While relying on heartbreak as his muse, the Haitian, Florida-bred singer/songwriter weaves soul, synth, and electric guitar with addictive downbeats and an unadulterated delivery. On the heels of his recent singles “4:20 AM” and “Appreciation”, Villz releases his awaited 8 track debut album in full. Producers include Mike Ewing, Sage Tune, William Wolf, Ducko McFli and Syksense. Stream below or purchase from iTunes.
RESH (aka Marco Polo) is a singer, songwriter, dancer, director, actor, model, filmmaker, and artist currently residing in NYC. Impressive on all fronts, RESH is one of the most promising “undiscovered” talents we’ve come across thus far. His latest song and video “Silent Generation” showcases exemplary songwriting, both lyrically and melodically. It is catchy, content heavy, and original. The record is well produced, perfectly lacing organic and synthesized instruments with RESH’s pleasant vocals. The visual consists of imagery from past generations of music and culture juxtaposed against semi-psychedelic shots of RESH performing. The video doesn’t quite match the caliber of the song, but it’s definitely enjoyable none the less. Check it out!
Hailing from the UK, Authentic Bros are a duo of driven, passionate and charismatic artists with a unique approach to their blend of hip-hop. Here is the video for their newest song, “Austerity,” it’s spaced out and trippy, but well done. The brothers definitely have flow, and we like their positive message. All of the proceeds from this new song will be donated to UNICEF, so make sure to pick up “Austerity” on iTunes to support the movement.

Solo recording artist Melodic Dirt releases his first album, aptly titled “Debut Album.” The album is seven songs deep, and has a refreshing 90’s grunge rock sound. Dirt’s vocals are raspy and slightly reminiscent of Gavin Rossdale (of Bush), but they sit nicely on top of the crunchy electric guitars that really define the sound of the album. Most of the tracks are pretty simple as far as production goes, consisting of just guitar, bass, and drums. This minimalist approach really gives the project an organic and raw sound. The songwriting is on point, and the recording is nice and warm. We’re definitely looking forward to hearing more from Melodic Dirt in the near future.
Rising DJ/Producer Treyy G teamed up with DRTY DNCN and EDM.com to bring us yet another party anthem. This track has one of Treyy’s signature catchy rap style hooks on top of a bounce/trap beat that has some pretty sweet drops. Keep your ears up for this banger in nightclubs around the world.
Young songwriter Henri Brana released his 2nd single off his upcoming EP, “A Place Where We Can Love.” Brana has a great voice and an alternative rock/pop sound remeniscent of Coldplay or U2. This song is easy on the ears, with soft guitars and synthesizers as the backdrop for Brana’s ambient vocals and heartfelt lyrics. Be on the look out for Brana’s EP to be released on Swedish label Cyber Records.
The 3hree Project is a compilation of some of Denver Colorado’s most promising artists, curated by a team of respected music industry veterans. The first single, “All or Nothing” features singer Leona Harper and rapper FL (of the Foodchain.) The track’s foundation is a slightly ominous, but somehow club friendly beat that lends itself perfectly to Harper’s charming vocals and FL’s sharp verses. Look out for more heat from The 3hree project this winter.
Rising DJ/Producer Vinnie Maniscalco is back at with a mash up of Disclosure/Sam Smith’s “Latch” and RL Grime’s “Tell Me.” Individually these were two of the hottest songs of 2014, and they blend together gloriously creating something almost entirely new. For your listening pleasure, enjoy!

We all know at least one weed snob. The people over at WeedMaps produced this short skit that follows Richard and Sebastian, two pompous yuppies and old Yale buddies, as they enjoy the finer things in a world where weed has replaced the role of legal alcohol. While it was a little corny throughout, and boring at times, we still thought it was funny. Enjoy this short movie paired a few blunts of your finest kush variety. Look out for episode 2 coming soon. Cheers!
Shitty rapper turned EDM sensation Waka Flocka is an entertainer in the true sense. Without having any real talents, his hilarious persona, image, and energy have carried him to super stardom. His most recent endeavor is this commercial for Pine Brothers Cough Drops. We aren’t sure how Waka managed to keep a straight face here, because this is funny as hell. And yes, this is a real advertisement. Never smoke a blunt again without Pine Brothers, straight up!
G-Eazy is becoming one of our favorites from the generation of “College Rappers” that includes Chris Webby, Mac Miller, Asher Roth and others. Eazy is back with his new single “Achievement.” Produced by Christoff Anderson. The beat is pretty much an updated rip off of East Flatbush Project feat. Des – “Tried by 12,” (also re-popularized in the Shady 2.0 Cypher a few years back) but its dope enough, and the real highlight is Eazy’s bars. Throughout the track he effortlessly delivers some of the stronger punch lines we’ve heard in a minute. If you don’t already know about G-Eazy, you will soon!
