Last year Rapsody dropped one of the most talked about projects of the year, Laila’s Wisdom. She’s back now with the visual accompaniment to the cinematic track “Chrome (Like Ooh.) As always, this talented artist is always making commentary about the state of things both through her lyrics, and the story of the video. Enjoy!
We caught Audio Push for a secret set at No Ends Denver a few weeks’s back and they put on a hell of a show. The duo is rolling out material from their upcoming album Cloud 909, including the official video for Pump Fake, appropriately set the basketball court. What the video may lack in the budget department, it makes up for in the creativity department. Enjoy!
Quickly rising star Rob $tone has been consistently dropping material since he first hit the scene in 2016. Just a day after turning 23 years old, the young rapper is back with the official video for “Uncle Ben,” off his recent project Don’t Wait For It. We have a feeling Rob $tone is going to have a big year. Get familiar!
Singer Brent Faiyaz, and producers Atu and Dpat began quietly releasing music as Sonder on SoundCloud last summer. In October, the trio finally delivered a proper introduction to their new group with the release of their first single “Too Fast.” In January, Sonder followed up their debut single with the release of their full Into EP.
MGMT keeps the new music coming today with psychedelic single “When You Die.” The surreal track follows October’s release of “Little Dark Age,” the first new song in four years from the group and the title track from their forthcoming album, set to drop sometime in early 2018.
There’s nothing like a Tiny Desk Concert to put an artist’s live performance skills on full display. The latest in the series comes from one of our favorite performers, Tyler, The Creator. The NPR series has been highlighting more rappers over the past couple years including performances from Chance The Rapper, Anderson .Paak, Run The Jewels and more.
Bay Area native Playpat returns with the super wavy hustler’s anthem “Solo” produced by Enry-K. The video is one of the cleanest indie productions we’ve seen in a while, and it really enhances the vibe on this one. Roll one up and get on Playpat’s level before you bump this. Enjoy!
We never knew how much we wanted to see Migos, Marshmello and Will Smith in the club together until now. Thanks to the upcoming Netflix movie Bright starring Will Smith, this is now a reality from their new collaboration “Danger” along with the hilariously amazing music video.
Love them or hate them, you’ll definitely find Post Malone and 21 Savage’s new “Rockstar” music video entertaining. The two recently teamed up on one of the biggest songs of the year in “Rockstar” and have now channeled their inner Tarantino on a bloody, kung fu styled video highlighting a bloody Post Malone with a katana.
Breaks My Heart is the latest single and video off of Chris Martines’s EDM EP ‘Fairy Tale.’ Martines, a producer and DJ hailing Germany, teamed up with NYC recording artist Lachi–who’s recently released club banging tracks with Snoop Dogg and Styles P–and put together the big sound found on this track.
Back in June, Vic Mensa released The Manuscript, a teaser EP of sorts for his debut album, The Autobiography, which would follow a month later. Three of the EP’s four tracks made it onto the album, though two were relegated to bonus track status.
On Snoop Dogg’s latest album the song ‘Neva Left’, got an animated video that’s something like The Boondocks meets Scarface. The song itself perfectly fits this retro vibe, as it samples The Charmels’ “As Long as I’ve Got You,” which is most recognizable as the backbone of the Wu-Tang Clan’s “C.R.E.A.M.”
Skrillex’s frequent video director Jas Davis has just shared a next level new video… and recruited none other than Skrillex to soundtrack it. Jas is always pushing the limits with his visuals and this new upload “FRIENDLY FIRE” spanning nearly 2 minutes shows off his artistic visions and insane filming / editing skills. The trippy video is wild throughout, but so is the hip-hop styled beat Skrillex cooked up for it. Check out their other recent video collaboration below and enjoy!
Dizzy Wright has been consistently dropping material lately. His latest is a new visual treatment for the track “Outrageous” featuring Big K.R.I.T., off Dizzy’s latest project TheGolden Age 2. The track is solid, (though K.R.I.T. kind of burns Dizzy on his own shit) and the video is timely and relevant in today’s climate where more and more images of police brutality and racism are surfacing every day.
