Cardi B – Up

In the Tani Muino visual, which was filmed over two days during Christmas break, Cardi appears atop a sarcophagus in a cemetery in a sexy black outfit, her mourning attire signaling that in this case, she’s celebrating saying goodbye and it’s a kiss-off that’s relatable. The headstone reads “RIP 2020.” The slick video sees the rapper in a number of sleek outfits and locations, joined by dancers.

DaBaby – “More Money More Problems”

DaBaby is putting an emphasis on family in the video for his new single “More Money More Problems.” The artist takes the day in the life approach for the visual, using a fish-eye lens to give fans a tour of his home and property while also spitting about the success he’s had in a short amount of time.

YG – Out On Bail

“Out on Bail” follows two other releases ahead of his album launch. The rapper tapped Day Sulan for his “Equinox” music video and dropped “Swag” alongside a music video dedicated to Colin Kaepernick. The video releases eight months after YG was arrested on robbery charges, just days before he was slated to perform a Nipsey Hussle tribute at the GRAMMYs.

RMR – WELFARE (feat. Westside Gunn)

The visual goes to the projects of numerous cities and contrasts with RMR rapping in a warehouse full of stacks of cash. His crew is dressed in similar ski-masks as the Griselda Records leader supports in the background of numerous scenes. It’s a simple aesthetic offering similar to his original “RASCAL” video that helped RMR burst onto the scene in the first place.

City Girls – Pussy Talk ft. Doja Cat

“Pussy Talk,” featuring one Doja Cat is a gold-drenched music video that backs all the hype the three women rap about themselves as they serve jungle kitty, business kitty, and glam kitty, letting you know exactly what this multilingual “Pussy Talk.” “English, Spanish, and French,” to be exact.

Action Bronson – Latin Grammys (Official Music Video)

“Latin Grammys” is a return to form. Action raps with his signature penchant for 90s sports references and obscure nods to the American pop culture lexicon. “I fly the plane better than Tom Cruise/ Drive cars like Dale Sr. with my feet up/ Lotus pose like Shiva on the floor/ For the fight with my seat next to Jeter/ I told that motherf*cker roll the weed up, please.” The beat was created by Tommy Mas, the main producer on Action’s 2011 debut Dr. Lecter.

BAAUER – AETHER (OFFICIAL VIDEO)

New York City’s famed producer/DJ Baauer has recently resurfaced in anticipation of his timely and aptly titled new album, Planet’s Mad. He’s released the first single, AETHER, along with an out of this world visual accompaniment. As unpredictable as ever, Baauer has once again evolved his sound on this highly energetic banger that fuses elements of trap, dubstep, and other bass music into a spaced out tune thats unlike anything else we’ve heard from the Harlem Shake producer. The digitally animated video is an interplanetary journey that features humans and array of alien characters escaping destruction and finding their way to the ultimate space refugee rager, DJ’d by none other than Baauer himself. This one definitely has us excited for the full album, and hopefully a national tour, whenevter our own planet reopens.
