Mac Miller has a new album entitled The Divine Feminine dropping September 16th. Today he dropped the first single, featuring the man of the year, Anderson .Paak, who seems to have appeared on literally every album of consequence to have come out in the last 12 months. The song is a delightful, bouncy, summer funk-jam that brings the best out of both artists. Enjoy below.
RZA had a secret plan to bring the Wu-Tang clan to no. 1 within 5 years. Method Man, Ghostface, Raekwon, Inspectah Deck, GZA, ODB, U God, and Masta Killa had no idea what they were signing up for. But amazingly, the plan worked.
Schoolboy Q returns with the second installment in his short movie for his recently released Blank Face LP. The action picks up a lot in this one, and the track goes hard. This project is becoming one of our favorites this year, look out for Part 3 coming next.
M.I.L.F.$ is a pervy celebration of mommy complexes. It features the Fergie spelling as usual & although the music is terrible the sex appeal alone is worth a watch.
Francis & The Lights just dropped this brand new video featuring Bon Iver and Yeezus himself. The melodic pop track features soulful yet ambient vocals, with autotune Kanye somewhere in the mix. The video fell a little short, but still worth a watch. Enjoy!
We’re a little late with this one, Mija & Vindata dropped this video for their track “Better,” a little while back. Perfectly matching the uplifting summery vibe of the song, the video depicts clips and images from what looks like a hell of a life on tour around the world. We wouldn’t mind partying with these two!
The short film music video hybrid is becoming more and more popular these days. Schoolboy Q is kicking back into gear, and he just dropped off his own mini movie. It’s a little slow to start but it’s worth the wait, once the music drops it’s everything you hoped the new Q would sound like, with some trippy visual effects. Sounds like there’s an uncredited K Dot appearance on the track too. Check it out and look out for the “Blank Face” LP coming soon!
Chicago MC Vic Mensa is everywhere lately. He recently dropped this hot freestyle for the LA Leakers at Power 106 in Los Angeles, and he’s definitely taking shots, possibly at Chance The Rapper and others, though it’s not entirely clear. Regardless there’s some dope bars in there, check it out!
You might have seen Quentin Miller’s name during the whole Drake/Meek ghostwriting ordeal that pointed to Quentin as the source. His latest project WDNG CRSHRS with TheCoolIsMac dropped one of their hottest tracks yet, “combination.” Their simplistic beats mixed with an authentic tone gives these rappers an edge that no one is carrying right now. While the track his been out a while, it just got on our radar. Enjoy!
The video starts off as what I thought was a fitness video teaching women how to get a big butt, with one girl going from a completely flat behind to having a grotesquely augmented set of cheeks supposedly in three days. Then it descends into full on, unadulterated booty-shaking on a beach as Bizzle looks like he can’t believe his luck.
Australian producer Flume recently dropped Skin one of the most anticipated albums of 2016 thus far, and it doesn’t disappoint. “Lose It,” one of the lead singles, is an upbeat summer banger featuring Chicago rapper Vic Mensa. We’re guessing this will be in heavy rotation on the festie circuit this summer. Enjoy the tastefully trippy visuals too, and be sure to check out the rest of Skin.
Independent artist Daz Woods is back with “Late Nights,” a loose track to hype up fans in anticipation of his upcoming mixtape Organized Crime. Produced by Tacet, the latest in-house addition to Daz’s SourBatchKids movement, “Late Nights,” stays true to the Chicago sound with chopped up soul samples backing Woods’ grimey stream of consciousness flow. Check out “Late Nights,” and be on the look out for Daz Woods’ Organized Crime, dropping later this year.
Denver emcee Spoke In Wordz has most recently been making a name for himself in the battle rap circuit over that last few years, but he continues to release new music too. Check out his latest visuals for “Pick Yourself Up,” a passionate track about police brutality and the injustice minorities continue to face in America. Directed by Eric Heights. Enjoy!
California based artist Duckwrth dropped this impressive visual for his laid back single “Bernal Heights.” Duckwrth is gearing up to head out on some tour dates with Anderson .Paak, one of our favorite rising artists, later this year. Check out the “Bernal Heights” below and look out for more from this promising artist.

We posted this track when it dropped a few months back. It was dope then, and it’s still dope, now accompanied by a trippy video that will have you wondering if your computer is fucked up or if you’re just on acid. Once again A$AP MOB has done it right. Enjoy!
Infectious Designer, an Alabama-based director, created Darth Punk – The Funk Awakens a few years back. We had to post today in honor of May the Fourth aka Star Wars Day. This action packed futuristic short film will have you feeling like you ate some of your favorite drugs and fell asleep watching Star Wars, with Daft Punk playing in the background. Amazing!
Up and coming artist Legend has been making waves in his home city of Springfield Illinois for a while now. We caught up with the rising MC to ask a few questions and get to know him better. Check out the interview and look out for new music from Legend soon!
Denver’s Kontrast & Fo Chief (of Fresh Breath Committee) present “Ain’t no other way,” the first single of their forthcoming album. The lyric heavy track is backed by a banger from Colorado producer Mo Heat! Look out for the full length album Cannonball Soup: The Last Supper coming in March!
