Flume’s New Song Mixed With Notorious B.I.G Is REALLY Good! “The late great Biggie’s rhymes from his classic 1994 track Big Poppa have been perfectly intwined with the new Andrew Wyatt (Miike Snow) helmed tune by Chicago production duo Hood Internet, who’re known for combining old school hip-hop with modern pop and EDM music, and it works so, so damn well.” -Mitch Feltscheer

Cordelia – On the Water

On the Water, a dark folk project from Philadelphia, will soon release their fifth album, Cordelia. Fletcher Van Vliet, songwriter and founding member, describes the album as a dark love poem about self-discovery, realizing the things you love, close friends and adventure, limitations and failures, and bouts with depression. Some of the songs are directly about the loss of his father, who unexpectedly passed away in 2012 of cancer. After listening the album in it’s entirety, I can say it was both inspirational and deeply emotional as the moods transitioned intermittently. Definitely worth giving it a listen below.
