“This song just came out a few days ago and I needed to play drums to it. Everything in this song drops so hard, and all the bass in the track got me dancing immediately. I hope you enjoy my drum cover and thank you for watching!” – Dylan Taylor.

Machine Gun Kelly puts on an insane show every time we’ve seen him, and last night the Alpha & Omega Tour at Summit Music Hall in Denver was no exception. Mod Sun started the night off right, and got the crowd nice and turnt for MGK to close it out. Many a blunt were smoked and it was a hell of a night. Our friend Willis Small (Shutterspit) captured the show, check it out!
Danny Brown is without a doubt one of the weirdest and most interesting characters in hip hop, and like him or not, his talent is indisputable. He just dropped his new album Atrocity Exhibition. Check out the review below from our own Colin Wrenn!
Producer Mura Masa tapped A$AP Rocky for this chilled out genre spanning record that we wish dropped in time for summer. Rocky did his thing as always but the Mura Masa’s beat steals the show with an awesome blend of boom bap sounds and island club vibes. This is a perfect track to roll one up to!
Chance The Rapper’s sold out show at The Fillmore in Denver on Tuesday was a monumental testament to the rapper’s visual and sonic artistry. Despite the delightfully whimsical fever dream of confetti cannons, skits, LED screens, and (sometimes flying) puppets, the music still managed to steal the show. The strength of Chance’s musical arsenal (with Coloring Book front and center, naturally), coupled with both the performer’s and fans’ enthusiasm made even the album cuts rock like hit singles. Chance was pitch-perfect and worked within the structured show without feeling overly choreographed. He took the crowd to 21st century technicolor church, and left everyone with the reverent and rare knowledge that they’d borne witness to a young rap legend bringing the fucking house down. Our friend @Jake_Blackson (#theyshootn) captured the performance with some amazing photos! Enjoy, and don’t miss The Magnificent Coloring Book tour in your city!
Unsigned artist playpat releases his first single, “Ecstasy,” from a series of similar life-inspired pieces, called “The Scene.” Growing up in the East Bay, playpat was surrounded by many different cultures and therefore was exposed to different genres at a younger age. In 6th grade, he started a group with his friends called BANLID where he not only produced all the beats, but wrote lyrics for the group in which they recorded on a camera, converted to mp3, just so his classmates and other Baydestrians could bump around the city.

Prior to his appearance on Run The Jewls RTJ2 album Zack de la Rocha has been ghost for a minute. He’s now resurfaced again with a banger not surprisingly produced by El-P, who’s been on fire for a few years now, and they couldn’t sound better together. There’s rumors of a full length collab album between the two, and we hope they are true. For now enjoy ‘digging for windows!’

Introducing Mannie Mims & his newest song “Let’s Get It/Problem”, (Instrumental by 67 FT GIGGS LET’S LURK). Mannie Mims is from ITALY, more specifically Pordenone. His sound is comparable to Hilltop Hoods & although he is hails from Italy, he sounds like he is from the UK to me. You be the judge.
SIX9 Says he’s “ON HIS WAY TO THE MOON AINT LETTING SHIT STOP HIM BUT GOD!! IF U LOOKING FOR SOME DOWN SOUTH BANGERS FROM A NIGGA THAT REALLY LIVED DA LYFE, FUCK WIT A BORN G SIX9…” This track features Lil’ Wayne? Not sure if that checks out, but you can listen to the track & decide for yourself.
